As a part of Visit India 2009, the Ministry of Tourism has discussed with all major hospitals of India to offer incentivised deals to the medical tourists. “We have met representatives from major hospitals and I am waiting for their offer.” said Sujit Banerjee, Tourism Secretary. “We would like to include medical tourism in in the Visit India incentive scheme.”
